Seppo Kantonen has performed actively since 1982. He is featured on over 150 recordings ranging from rock, pop and jazz to classical music. He has played all overt the world including India, Japan, South Africa, Egypt, Russia, the USA and Turkey. Kantonen has played with several notable groups and musicians including Pekka Pohjola, UMO, Eero Koivistoinen, J. Karjalainen, Remu and Avanti. He teaches at Sibelius Academy.
